Bio

Shade is a DC-based Product Designer + digital nomad with a passion for curating relevant digital experiences at the intersection of simplicity and authenticity. She is currently a Sr. Product Designer @ Meta (Facebook). Additionally, through her studio Made by Shade, she partners with startup founders + entrepreneurs to draw the connections between who they are, why they are, and what they do to strategically position them to stand out in a sea of cookie-cutter digital experiences.

Previously, she was a Product Designer + Researcher @ CivicActions transforming the government through modern design. And prior to that, part of the Digital Product Management practice within Accenture Interactive and led UX efforts that transformed and revitalized digital experiences for several Fortune 500 companies.

She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, having completed a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems, and an alumnus of University of Arts London where she studied Creative Design.
